Yes. Industry events of the 20th New Horizons IFF will take place on their original July dates. This is the best solution because of the extremely high number of international industry events organized in Autumn. Polish Days will be held on July 27-29, 2020.
- How will the Polish Days be organized this year?
Polish Days will be held virtually, using the best available platforms. The programme and structure of the event will not change significantly compared to previous years.
- Is Polish Days open to all industry representatives?
No, Polish Days is a closed event. Only invited industry representatives may participate.
- Who will be invited to Polish Days?
Polish Days is an event promoting Polish cinema among the international film industry. Foreign sales agents, producers and distributors as well as programmers of world festivals are invited to Polish Days. The invited guests also include representatives of Polish institutions that support film production and distributors of Polish films. Due to the closed nature of the event, only industry media can participate.
- What projects are presented during Polish Days?
The Polish Days repertoire presents film projects at three stages of production: in development (pitching session), works in progress (WiP session) and completed films (screenings for representatives of the foreign film industry only).

The list of projects will be announced in early July 2020.
- What is Polish Days?
Polish Days, co-organized with the Polish Film Institute, is the most important industry event of the New Horizons International Film Festival in Wrocław. It consists of presentations and screenings of the latest Polish films to international industry representatives. Each year the event is attended by approx. 250 guests including sales agents, distributors, festival programmers and producers. Polish Days offers an unparalleled opportunity for Polish filmmakers to promote their projects, plan festival strategy and network with international partners.
- What is New Horizons Studio+ ?
New Horizons Studio+, organised by the New Horizons Association and Creative Europe Desk Poland, is a training programme for first and second-time directors and producers willing to work in international environment.
It consists of 4 days of workshops and lectures on different aspects of project promotion and development. Its main task is to provide young professionals with knowledge about the international film market, as well as to help them in determining their career paths. The partners of New Horizons Studio+ are EAVE and London Film Academy.
- Who can apply to participate in the NHS+?
NHS+ is aimed at duets of first and second-time directors and producers, both from Poland and abroad.
