Fire Will Come
by Oliver Laxe

The winner of this year’s Jury Award in Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section. Set in peripheral Spanish Galicia, Laxe’s film talks about the need for balance. The spark is lit by the return of Armador, who just served a year-long prison sentence for arson, but also by the changes that take place in the dying villages awaiting tourists.
