European Film Awards 2019 - streaming December 7th

The winners of 10th American Film Festival announced Call for submissions: New Horizons International Competition 2020

The ceremony will be streamed live at the New Horizons IFF website, starting at 17.00 with interviews from the red carpet studio with German journalist Milena Fessmann and continue with the ceremony from 19.00. 

Founded in 1988, the European Film Academy currently unites over 3,800 European film professionals with the common aim of promoting European film culture. The 32nd European Film Awards will be celebrated on 7 December 2019 in Berlin. The European Film Awards (EFA) take place in Berlin every second year and travels in the other years: London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Valletta, Riga, Wroclaw, Seville.

This year’s ceremony honours the achievements of European cinema in 24 categories and welcomes outstanding European film makers such as Werner Herzog, recipient of the 2019 EFA Lifetime Achievement Award, and Juliette Binoche, who will be awarded with the Achievement in World Cinema award, together with many other protagonists of European cinema such as Wim Wenders and Agnieszka Holland.
