The director of a Community Arts Center in Aleksandrów Kujawski announces a competition for the best creative patriotic attitude as expressed through song, recital, film or speech – any and all forms are allowed. Independence Day is coming up and the jury includes the center’s director, city mayor, local priest, and poet engaged in a heated debate on choosing the best patriot in the region.

Agnieszka Elbanowska

Agnieszka Elbanowska is a director, editor and photo-reporter who graduated from the University of Warsaw, Roma Tre University, Wajda School, and is currently a PhD candidate at the Lodz Film School, as well as a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association. Her documentary, The Love Equation of Henry Fast has screened and received numerous awards at film festivals in Poland and abroad.
