F for Fibonacci

Beatrice Gibson
United Kingdom 2014 / 16’

The point of reference, and also the point of departure, for Gibson’s experimental film is the novel JR by William Gaddis. The British artist creates a world in which the influences of art and business are intertwined. Gibson weaves a satirical vision of the future in which power is wielded by money.
