Molecural Feedback
One of this British artist’s non-film-related interests—his passion for both analog and digital devices—is reflected in his experimental productions. In Molecular Feedback, the key role is played by Hellitron tone generators, which emit sounds that combine on-screen with a riot of flashing colors.
Ian Helliwell
Multimedia artist. Has been living in Brighton since 1985. Combines analog and digital systems in his creative work, which includes music, film, animation, electronica, and performance art. Has made more than 100 experimental films, which have been screened all around the world. In 2011, made his first full-length documentary film, Practical Electronica.
