Fourteen-year-old Mateusz and thirteen-year-old Łukasz live in a small mountain village in southern Poland. Like many boys their age, they dream of being professional soccer players. They work hard each day on keeping in shape physically and mentally. Their father also faces a challenge: he has to prepare his sons to leave home and live independently in a tough adult world.
Film director, photographer, traveler. Studied Direction at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television and completed a documentary course at the Wajda School. Has received scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Mayor of Krakow, TVP, and the Polish Filmmakers Association. Has captured numerous awards for his short student films, including for Echo at the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in 2012. Is currently working on his first full-length feature film.
