One of Bruce LaBruce’s favorite actresses presents her fantasy about serious ladies. Inspired by a novel by Jane Bowles and by the scandalous writings of Virginie Despents, this experimental film is a feminist manifesto that is not lacking in irony. While taking walks in Berlin, the title characters indulge in self-reflective deliberations and, given the opportunity, share their opinions on the subjects of communism and the creative work of Walter Benjamin.
