Acid Rain

Tomek Popakul
Poland 2019 / 26’
subtitles: English
1410 Badylok

Somewhere in Eastern Europe. A young woman runs away from home, away from the gray reality. The initial excitement of hitchhiking travel flags when she lands on the outskirts of the city in the middle of the night. On a bridge she notices someone dangerously balancing on the railing. That's how she meets Skinny, a slightly unbalanced freak. Skinny lives in a motorhome he uses to handle less-than-legal errands. She decides to ride along with Skinny and their common path leads into increasingly strange areas and an unspoken bond forms between them.
