Two grandparents, a mother, a father and two children—a teenager named Hugo and little six-year-old Lili—are spiders who live life like a human family and experience typically human problems. On a daily basis, they have to deal with both spider problems—weaving spider webs and fighting great battles with a vacuum cleaner—and human problems, such as the first day at school, the complexes of adolescence and intergenerational conflicts. The collection includes three episodes: Lili's Room, in which little Lili Webster feels that it's time to live in her own cocoon; Shopping Madness, in which the whole spider family goes shopping so that Mommy can bake a sweet cake; and A Domestic Pet, in which Lili finds out that not all animals are easy to care for when the entire house is visited by fleas.
