DRIB U - July 22

When a young woman starts her studies in Oslo, it marks the beginning of a new life for her. Love blooms in Thelma for the first time. Experiencing and sorting out adult emotions is complicated not only by the constant watchful eye of her parents-who happen to be religious fanatics. It also turns out that a hidden, supernatural power has been lying dormant in Thelma that allows her to change and shape reality. These forces make themselves known at moments when she experiences stress or anxiety. They soon take over her body and mind, changing her life and her surroundings. Will Thelma face up to questions about her identity? The director draws the viewer into a search for an answer to the question of what lies behind her behavior-and keeps you in suspense right up until the surprising finale.
