Some of the most interesting and lesser-known short films aimed at creating new forms in motion. The program will include, alongside classic works like Kazimierz Urbański's Sweet Rhythms, Mirosław Kijowicz's Wicker Basket, and Jerzy Kucia's The Ring, contemporary films that expertly manipulate the relationship between image and language, such as Aneta Grzeszykowska's Bolimorfia, Agnieszka Jarząb's 2Leaves&Letters,and Piotr Bosacki's The Love of Life. It will be interesting to see the juxtaposition of analytical films' minimalistic expression (Kazimierz Bendkowski's Centre or Krzysztof Kiwerski's Stop! Keep out) with the calligraphy of letters created by graduates of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts: Andrzej Zaręba's Stupajkop, Ewa Borysewicz's Alright, and Marta Pajek's Next door. During the day, we will go with the flow. The screening, which will begin and end with music by Krzysztof Penderecki, is part of the 70th anniversary of Polish animation. There will also be filmmaker Q&As.
