The Gospel According to Pasolini is based on Pier Paolo Pasolini’s The Gospel According to St. Matthew. The material for Blajerski’s film is taken from Pasolini’s work in the form of found footage, which is then taken apart and blended together to form a new structure. The Gospel According to Pasolini does not contain a single word. According to the director, his gospel was created as a result of the combination of symbols, gestures, and emotions of the individual protagonists.
