The story of a former boxer who lost his hearing in the ring. He now works in a very noisy factory, but his disability makes him the right person in the right place. However, the man has never heard the sound of his child’s voice. After years of waiting, he finally gets a new hearing aid and sets out with his adult son into the country to see how the long-awaited technology works.

Mieczysław Krzel was born in 1970 in Warsaw and is a graduate of the Lodz Film School Screenwriting Study and the University of Warsaw, Department of Psychology. He also studied directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television University of Silesia. Mieczysław shares screenwriting credits with Sławomir Fabicki for Bonobo Jingo, which was awarded as the best European script in development at the Rome Film Fest 2007.
