Order of Service

Henk Otte
Orde van Dienst
Netherlands 2012 / 7’

The principle rule of Order of Service is image multiplication. The screen is divided into several parts depicting almost identical situations. Drawing on Zbigniew Rybczyński’s New Book, in this experimental document the Dutch artist Henk Otte shows a website that lets the faithful absent from church service to attend through computer images.
