Real Honey

Sławomir Witek
Prawdziwy miód
Poland 2013 / 18’

60-year-old Krystyna is a poor pensioner who lives in a small village deep in the forest. Each day, she patiently sells homemade honey on the road, because she really needs the money for an important trip. To the woman’s annoyance, prostitutes begin working ‘her road’. The initial conflict unexpectedly turns into a kind of intimacy in an intimate story of trust, prejudice and surpassing one’s own limitations.
