He was born in 1984 in Krakow. Graduate of the Radio and Television Department at the Krzysztof Kieślowski University of Silesia in Katowice and Church History at the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Krakow; he also studied art history. Winner of the Krakow Creative Scholarship in 2010 in film and Distinctions of the Rector of the University of Silesia for Undergraduate and Doctoral Students in 2011.
