Suitcase
In an empty wasteland, deserted as far as the eye can see, a naked man finds a suitcase with a suit, pocket watch and other gentlemanly implements. Once worn, each item brings him closer to the world of civilization. How long will he feel free in this mask? This story of the age-old conflict between nature and culture is a spare film about the search for an impossible way out.
Jacek Łechtański
Born in 1964. A director, cinematographer, editor, screenwriter and art director. He graduated from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Poznań and the Faculty of Cinematography at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. He was a co-originator of the group Ankh Fabrik producing independent films and music for film and theatre. As a director of photography he has worked on more than 60 feature films, documentaries and TV theatre productions.
