A lonely man works as a train crossing guard in an out-of-the-way picturesque town, where there is almost no traffic and trains rarely stop. Playing the trumpet is his only entertainment in this monotony until a charming someone appears near the station offering the opportunity to change his life. An intimate and nostalgic animated film about a sensitive man and his world with a dollop of warm humour.
