In this experimental, sun and music-soaked story of a love triangle between Antônia, Pedro and Luana, the heroes are young and infatuated with love and each other. Director Bruno Safadi uses unusual contrasts to tell their story: long takes, a lively soundtrack, murky symbolism and emotional ostentatiousness, night and day. A forthright and complete image of youthful passion tangled somewhere between fascination and rejection emerges from this kaleidoscope of experiences.
Bruno Safadi was born in 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He debuted on the world’s silver screens in 2007, when his feature Meu nome é Dindi showed at Rio Film Fest; he had previously directed mainly short films. As a partner in TB Produções, he produced seven feature-length films and worked with veterans such as Nelson Pereira dos Santos, Júlio Bressane and Ivan Cardoso.
