A feature study based on an excerpt from the famous novel The Catcher in the Rye by Jerome David Salinger. The plot is set in a small room of a school dormitory where the atmosphere is thick with emotions. The confrontation between roommates is somehow a manly fight and somehow a childish quarrel at the same time. The argument is not only about a girl, but about different attitudes towards life: idealism versus consumerism. Young Stefan Friedmann plays the outsider rather well.
