The film shows a story about a boy, who misses tenderness, who is undervalued and he can't find a way to communicate with his father. The father trains him to be "a real man". He wants to make the athletic and agile Tarzan the boy's idol. He buys posters, comic books and a Tarzan figure for him, but the son is absolutely not drawn to this character. He loves to sneak to the nearby shipyard to play there on his own. One day he meets a gantry-operator. The man becomes his only friend, explaining to him that he should trust in himself, because everybody is good at something - it only has to be found.
