Comfortable beds with bed sheets, decent food, music and even a ping-pong table - this is what the two separated barracks - no. 18 and 19 - in Sachsenhausen concentration camp look like. A worker needs good motivation - explains the camp's commander, Friedrich Herzog. This is because here have been gathered Jewish counterfeiters and specialist photographers, suppose to counterfeit mass amounts of high-quality pounds and dollars for the German army. But for the operation's success Salomon Sorowitsch is absolutely necessary - this famous pre-war counterfeiter of banknotes and documents, brought by Herzog to the camp to supervise production (...) The film is based on a true story, only slightly exaggerated.
