The second stage (Arabian nights and Ugandan mornings) will be a DJ set with contemporary dance music, featuring sounds from Algeria, Mali, Sudan, Egypt, Senegal, Mauritania, Angola, and Morocco.

00:00 Sinaubi Zawose & Pamoja Zanzibar (concert)

Sinaubi Zawose – vocals, strabismus, ilimba, chilimba
Bahati Zawose – ngoma, percussion, vocals
Bond – bass, percussion

SINAUBI ZAWOSE & PAMOJA is the result of a collaboration between Tanzanian artist Sinaubi Zawose and Polish musician and producer Radek Bond Bednarz. Recorded in Tanzania and released last year, GOGO HIP bridges past and present generations, blending traditional and contemporary music of the Tanzanian GOGO tribe. The music conveys important messages through lyrics in Swahili and the Gogo dialect. Sinaubi aims to uphold the legacy of Dr. Hukwe Zawose, the legendary leader of the Zawose dynasty who collaborated with Peter Gabriel and other artists.

The GOGO HIP album was included in the TOP 20 World Music Charts Europe. Sinaubi and the band have performed at international festivals, including IOMMA Reunion, Visa for Music Morocco, and Bezau Beatz Austria. At New Horizons, Sinaubi and Bond invite you on an acoustic journey with traditional GOGO music, accompanied by Bahati Zawose on percussion instruments.

During the event, intense lighting or stroboscopic effects will be used. However, people who are hypersensitive to such effects can still use the chill out zone, which is separated from the stage in the Festival Club.
