All Around The Diversion

The party is not going well: teens sitting in silence, smoking their cigarettes and casting cautious glances at each other. A sour mix of boredom and embarrassment hangs in the air. Will anyone finally make a move? This early short work by Jacques Rivette is a comedy that feeds on the discomfort of both the characters and the audience.
