The training of young riding adepts presented as a demonstration of grace, harmony, and acrobatic agility. The beauty of their combined actions does not prevent these girls from stressing their own individuality, and their sensitivity is ideal for working with their horses. What is most important, however, is that the girls’ smooth movements flow in concert with the hypnotizing rhythm of the music by the group En2ak.
The Kurkot Kollektiv is an artistic duo from Wrocław made up of Monika Kotecka and Karolina Poryzała. They produce films, commercials, and music videos. Their work can be seen online at kurkot.tumblr.com.
Born in 1981. Cinematographer and photographer. Before taking up film, she studied Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław and Photography at the European Academy of Photography. She subsequently studied at the Direction of Photography and TV Production Department at the Lodz Film School, where she graduated with honors in 2009. During her studies, she made a number of short films that were shown at festivals in Poland and abroad. In 2011, she was nominated for a WARTO award in the film category.
Born in 1978. Photographer and screenwriter. She first studied Zoology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She then did a three-year degree in Audiovisual Art, which included a course in Film Direction. She studied Photography at the Lodz Film School and did a course in screenwriting at a Krakow-based screenwriting school. Her photographs have been exhibited at the International Photography Festival in Lodz, among other places.
