This is not a documentary analyzing the causes of the July 2011 tragedy when Anders Breivik killed dozens of people on Utøya Island, but a documentary of the place that witnessed the dramatic events. The Shores of an Island I Only Skirted presents a utopia that drove both the Norwegian terrorist to commit mass murder and adventurers in the film’s second part to search for the promised land.
