Taking place over the course of a few warm days, the film thoroughly explores the difficult dynamic of dependence between various social groups. While the owners of a country estate are away, the family of workers guarding the house occupy it and pretend to act out their lifestyle. The owners discover this secret when they return unexpectedly for the weekend. The new balance of power is quickly overturned when the guardians witness something they were not supposed to see… The creators do not pass judgement and difficult fictional situations are alleviated with a unique brand of humour. This directorial debut by Agustín Toscano and Ezequiel Radusky is characterised by a sense of careful observation and social sensitivity reminiscent of the internationally recognised The Maid by Sebástian Silva.
