Chopin’s Drawings
Short etude about two children disappear and reappear inside the piano score and meet the young Fryderyk Chopin. Kobiela used all of the surviving drawings that Chopin drew as a child in this poetic little adventure through the pages of the score.
Dorota Kobiela
She was born in the Polish city of Bytom in 1978. She attended the W. Gerson State Lyceum of Fine Arts in Warsaw, specializing in exhibitions, and later graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, while also pursuing film direction studies at the Warsaw Film School. Her films have been shown on Polish television networks.
