The Man Who Was the Clarinet

A film about the journey of a clarinet player while he is composing a piece for his girl friend. Irek, an obsessive musician falls in love Magda. At the begining of his relationship he starts to compose a song for her, which slowly takes over the relationship. Realising his mad obsession towards the clarinet Magda decides to leave him. This saddness along with the help of of his junkie drummer Piotrek, Irek manages to finish the composition...but only to realise that he is inseperable from his instrument, and perhaps there is no way out…

Tushar Prakash

Born in 1984 in New Delhi. Started studies at the Faculty of Film and Television Production at Rai University. Also tried his hand at film montage, music and sound. He helped in the organisation of the Sadho Film Festival (2007), the first poetic film festival in India. In 2007, he started his studies at the National Film, Television and Theatre School, Faculty of Directing.
