Eris is the final part of Claire Hooper’s Greek myth inspired trilogy the title of which relates to the goddess of discord and chaos. The main character of this modern story is a black woman fighting for custody of her children. In Eris, Hooper reaches for different styles, jumping from realism to poetry. The casual visual style is accompanied by hip-hop music written by Beatrice Dillon and, in one fragment, by the indie-rock group Lioness.
