Belgium 2013 / 17’

Photographs hang on the walls. The camera closes in on certain images, forcing us to think about them. In the typical museum experience, we can actually touchthe object presented, but in Journal this takes place directly through the medium of film, which limits our freedom of vision. Each of the participants (the film’s audience and the people in the photographs) of this unusual undertaking is seeing and being seen at the same time.

Sirah Foighel Brutmann, Eitan Efrat

Sirah Foighel Brutmann (received P.A.R.T.S. diploma in 2008 in Brussels) and Eitan Efrat (Amsterdam Academy diploma, 2011) have worked together under the name of Til Far for several years. They make videos, films and performances. Their Printed Matter participated in the European Short Films Competition at the 12th T-Mobile New Horizons festival.
