Kraków FF 2018 – Distinction (Short Film Competition)
Jakub Piątek
Born in 1985. Studied Film Direction at the Lodz Film School, as well as Cultural Studies. Has worked as a reporter and a cultural animator. His documentary debut, Mother, has been screened at no fewer than 50 international festivals and has won at least a dozen awards. His creative documentary One Man Show debuted in 2014. He is currently developing a full-length hybrid film called A Film for My Mother.
