With the 2009 album Bones of my Bones English artist Ebony Bones swiftly became one of the most distinguishable musicians on the British avant electro scene, she was acclaimed music surprise of the year and her first album was recognized as debut of the year in best new sound category on South by Southwest. Her real name is Ebony Thomas. Besides music, this talented British singer and electronic music producer is also interested in acting. She combines hip hop with rock and electronic music, juggles music genres and styles. Her music arrangements are as vivid as her stage look. With her crazy and colourful personality she's a more modern version of M.I.A. and Santigold. The main thing, however, that links Ebony Bones to her predecessors is musical eclecticism and extreme charisma on stage. Her concert during Tauron Nowa Muzyka two years ago was one of the most important events of the festival.
