Ewa Dobrołowicz
Poland 2015 / 22’

A documentary made during a trip from Wrocław to Szczecin in July 2015. Michał Zygmunt records music to provide a soundtrack for a silent Odra film saved from oblivion. The music, which was recorded in natural spaces near the river, uses archival sounds from post-war newsreels. Contemporary images are combined with scenes from Wiesław Drymer’s film Odra od Wrocławia do Szczecina (The Odra from Wroclaw to Szczecin)(1958).
