A short film about love between a young couple that has a rather peculiar happy ending. Grześ rents a log cabin in the mountains for his girlfriend, Jaśmina. He takes her there and, in accordance with her wishes, leaves her there for a few days. The height of summer is approaching, and, along with it, the fullness of life… She stays there alone. Her phone rings persistently, but the sound of the ringing is broken by an empty echo. Jaśmina is experiencing the summer of love of the title.

Marcin Filipowicz

Born in 1985 in Krakow. Director, traveler, and photographer. Studied Direction at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty University of Silesia in Katowice. In his first year, he made a documentary called 7109 km about a trip he took to meet a girl in Siberia. In his free time, he travels to Asia to look for ideas for documentaries, and he is working on an extensive photography project about this continent.
