Between the Worlds
No one knows why the Eskimos living in the Canadian region of Nunavut, have long had one of the highest rates of suicide among young people. This is a story about an extraordinary place where the past mixes with the present, and consciousness with dreaming. On the boundary between these realities lives a young Polish missionary who is a guide, a guardian, and a link between the spiritual and material worlds.

Katarzyna Dąbkowska
Born in Lodz in 1984, a graduate of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty University of Silesia in Katowice and of Film Studies at Lodz University. Has made short feature and documentary films, as well as investigative reports. This is what she has to say about herself: For me, film is a journey into worlds and people, into the depths of their histories and emotions, and I most like to travel to the north, to the Arctic, because where the world ends for some, it just begins for me.
