Soap Opera
This is a study of the taut emotions between two women as different as fire and ice. Martell, a student of composition, falls head over heels in love with her roommate Annie, a beautiful acting student cast in a stage play about the life of St. Hedwig and the object of a director’s affections. An accidental though dangerous event becomes a provocation in this tragic comedy with a mysterious twist.
Bodo Kox
Born in Wrocław in 1977. A director, screenwriter and amateur actor. He is an icon of Polish fringe cinema, from which he draws much of his directorial style. He is currently studying film direction at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź, is a graduate in feature course from the Wajda School, and holds a degree in journalism from the University of Wrocław.
