Close Ties
Barbara and Zdzisław Torhan have been married for nearly 45 years. Eight years ago the man left her to live with his lover, but returned home seven years later to his wife. Putting their relationship back together becomes extremely difficult for the both of them. Now, the unfaithful husband suggests organizing their 45th anniversary in order to make amends with his wife.

Zofia Kowalewska
Born in 1995 in Krakow. She obtained her International Baccalaureate from the Stefan Batory Secondary School no II in Warsaw and is currently studying Film Directing at the Lodz Film School. She started work on her documentary Close Ties in her last year of secondary school. So far, she has directed two student films Miśka, a feature study, and Kochanie, a documentary.
