Carried Away

A lyrical comedy in the spirit of "Czech" humour. An absurd story about great love. The fifty year old hero, a loser and a failure, decides that for once in his life, he shall work up the courage and perform a heroic deed. He kidnaps a female co-worker (a woman he's in love with since childhood) to free her from her primitive husband and begin a new life with her. When he transports her to the unoccupied house of his aunt, he realizes what he has actually done. That's when the kidnapped co-worker encourages him and reinforces his conviction that his deed was justified and deeply humane. However, this does not change the fact that they will soon have to face the woman's husband who is in pursuit.
