A lighthearted take on the fates of Polish immigrants in the United Kingdom. Being full partners in the new Europe offered new opportunities for Poles willing to travel abroad for wages. The script is largely based on the director’s own experiences of temporary work in the UK, where he observed the lives of Poles and those of immigrant communities from around the world.

Maciej Majewski

Born in 1977. He is a graduate of the State Lyceum of Fine Arts in Warsaw and holds a degree in animation from the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. He has produced several animated shorts and is also active as a photographer and musician.
