T-Mobile New Horizons IFF would like to invite you to the Festival Club in Wrocław’s Arsenal. As with every year, this year the music stage will also be jam-packed with great artists and amazing projects. During this year’s festival we will be able to hear, amongst others, Diamanda Galás, who has been blessed with a vocal range of three and a half octaves, and this will, indeed, be one of the most important events in the history of the music festival itself.
The great Mike Patton will also be playing in the Arsenal, along with his Tomahawk project, as will the king of drum’n’bass, Roni Size, in a duo with MC Dynamite. In a very special collaboration, we will see the Queen of American Gothic, Rykarda Parasol, in the company of Mela Koteluk and Misia Furtak. We will also be able to see Semantik Punk, the intellectual discovery of the year in Poland, who managed to avoid every musical and linguistic categorisation so far. The music stage will also host concert premieres between L.U.C and Motion Trio, as well as Igor Boxx and Agim Dzeljilji as Nervy. Live film music will also not be lacking. Minimatikon will be playing along to the cult horror film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, whilst Mikołaj Trzaska will present the premiere of the soundtracks from the films of Wojtek Smarzowski. In addition, some Russian groups will also be taking to the stage, namely NOM and Elektro Moskva, and there will also be the DJ Night sessions – everyday music played live by the very best DJs. Amongst those playing will be Niewinni Czarodzieje, My Head Is Dubby, Adrianna Styrcz & Kuba Libre, 2Much, as well as Poppa Fats’. In turn, the IP Group will present dIP – an audiovisual concert linking minimalistic video-art with experimental electronic music. For the first time ever during the festival, and thanks toFunky New Orleans, there will be a parade of sound which will depart from the Nowe Horyzonty cinema to the Arsenal, where it will kick off the concert and evening jam session.
