Anthony Burr and Skuli Sverrisson are an untypical duo - Burr plays the clarinet and Sverrisson the bass guitar. Their long-lasting cooperation has brought about the romantic, warm album A Thousand Incidents Arise. During the years of their musical search, they have managed to cooperate with leading experimental and jazz music artists from all over the world: John Zorn, Alvin Lucier, Jim O'Rourke, La Monte Young and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
They also compose film music, collaborating at this field with the New York-based experimenter, Jennifer Reeves, whose retrospective is presented at this year's festival. At the Festival Club they will play a specifically prepared project and an additional concert with an invited performer.
