Carlton consists of a series of sweeping angled shots of Ettore Sottass's iconic Memphis designed, 'carlton' cabinet from 1981. The close, visual survey of the piece of furniture is accompanied by the voice of a female narrator who informs and guides the viewer through the history of Memphis design, posing philosophical questions that explore the ambiguity of post-modernism and the future of culture today.
