This is a film about Janusz Różewicz - elder brother of Stanisław and Tadeusz Różewicz. It is a story of his short life of unknown poet and conspirator, about the beginnings of his creative activity, and his relationship with his brothers. It is also an attempt of presenting the artistic and inner evolution of Janusz Różewicz. He was open to life and people, he kept corresponding with Kazimierz Wierzyński, Józef Czechowicz, Julian Fryde. During the Second World War he was member of Polish Army and operated as a secret service agent in Poland and Germany. He died November 1944, murdered by German soliders.

Stanisław Różewicz (born 1924 in Radomsko) - director of features, documentaries and TV theatre. He started his film career in 1946 as an assistant of Jerzy Zarzycki. He debuted as an independent director in 1954 with Difficult Love. He was art director of Zespół Filmowy Tor.
