An ideal movie for all those looking for relaxation and a break at the movies from overbearing daily life. Distinguished by beautiful cinematography, this is the story of two daredevils crossing the Tibetan mountains. Photographer Vincent Munier and traveler Sylvain Tesson eagerly embrace the contemplation of breathtaking views, but they do not forget that their journey has a specific purpose. Both men came to Tibet motivated by the desire to see the majestic and extremely rare snow panther. Awaiting the animal's appearance is a test of patience and strength of character, but it also offers a pretext for reflection on man's destructive impact on the planet. The lyrical soundtrack perfectly corresponds to the atmosphere of reflection of the Velvet Queen. In an interview, the soundtrack composers, the renowned Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, called Vincent Munier and Marie Amiguet's film one of the most beautiful projects they have ever worked on.
Marie Amiguet is a French director and cinematographer. Born into a French-Swiss family, she spent her early childhood in the south of France. At nine years old, she moved with her family to Cambodia, and began her adventure with photography, taking photos of large mammals, mainly elephants. After returning to France, Amiguet graduated from the Institut de Formation au Cinéma Animalier (IFFCAM) and devoted herself to making documentaries about animal life.

Vincent Munier was born in 1976 in Épinal, northeastern France. As a twelve-year-old, with help from his father, he began to photograph animals in the forests and mountains of the Vosges. Over time, the child's passion turned into a way of life, and Munier became a professional and highly esteemed wildlife photographer.
