Croatia 2013 / 11’

Over a dozen years after the Balkan War, thousands of people gathered on Zagreb’s main square to watch a live broadcast of the International Criminal Court in The Hague’s verdict in the case against Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markač, Croatian generals previously sentenced to years of imprisonment for alleged war crimes. The film records the emotional eruption caused by the judges’ decision.
