I had no other choice than to jump from one pile to the other, as there was nothing in between

Gitte Villesen
Denmark, Austria 2012 / 10’

Even before the screening, this film draws attention for two reasons. First, the length of its title, secondly, its use of the African Wolof language. The Danish documentary helps viewers learn about a distant Gambian community, a culture based on different tenets than its European counterparts.
