Cold Open

Seamus Harahan
Ireland 2012 / 12’

Cold Open is part of a series of films made in 2007 in Belfast, the director’s hometown, and has the hallmarks of an experiment. It is not merely a film recording of Irish youth, but also a reflection upon the nature of the medium. Its heterogeneous character has made it popular at film festivals, galleries and museums.
