The sixties in Poland. A group of office workers goes mushroom picking by bus. Director announces a contest: the one who finds the biggest mushroom, will get a bonus. The competition begins. However, it turns out that toady to director is way more important to the competitors than mushroom picking. The film is based on author Marek Nowakowski’s collection of stories When the Light of Dawn Awakens.

Born in 1982. He grew up in Brzeg Dolny. Director and screenwriter. He’s a technician animator by profession, with a specialty in film. He graduated in journalism in Wroclaw. Currently he studies film directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty University of Silesia in Katowice.
